Apollo’s Mirror Digital Sculpture

Apollo’s Mirror is a bronze sculpture by Michael Petry patinated and polished to look like ancient Greek originals. It sits in Wesley’s Oxnam Chapel at the Henry Luce III Center for the Arts and Religion, Washington DC as part of his exhibition In League with Devils.

In collaboration with the Center and VOMA the world’s first virtual online museum, Petry has also created a digital collectible of the mirror for VOMA, This debuts simultaneously with the museum opening. By buying a piece, you will be supporting the work of the Dadian Museum and the Parsonage.

Michael Petry

Michael Petry (born 1960) is an American multi-media artist and author who lives and works in London. He is director of MOCA, London (Museum of Contemporary Art London), and co-founder of the Museum of Installation, also in London. He was formerly the Curator of the Royal Academy Schools Gallery, Guest Curator at the KunstAkademi, Oslo, and Research Fellow at the University of Wolverhampton.

The upcoming project is in collaboration with Dadian Gallery at the esteemed Henry Luce III Center for the Arts and Religion in Washington DC is none other than the highly anticipated exhibition featuring the renowned artist Michael Petry: In League With Devils.

The grand unveiling is scheduled for May 5th, 2023. The launch is set to coincide with the virtual presentation of “Apollo’s Mirror”, which will be spectacularly installed outside the prestigious Virtual Online Museum of Art (VOMA).
